On a travel trailer like your 2021 Lance 2285 the go to hitch is typically the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703. This hitch fits frames from 22-72" wide. However, this Class III hitch tops out at 350 lbs of tongue weight. In order to reach the 500 lb capacity you will need a universal Class V hitch like the # C59CR. I recommend the B&W Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25122 for your 1984 Chevy C10. With a weight distribution hitch it really comes down to the weight of the trailer. You will want to select a hitch which falls in the amount of tongue weight range of the hitch but also does not exceed the maximum trailer load rating. In regards to installing a trailer hitch like the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7178 on a 2011 Toyota Prius, the process is not hard at all. It installs into pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the frame, but you will have to drill into the exhaust heat shield.
